About Us - Youth Caring for Kids

Youth Caring for Kids is a registered 501(c)(3) charity organization, with the goal of providing educational support to both students in the United States as well as students in underprivileged parts of the world. This was started by a group of school students who believe in bringing equity in education.

Founders: Sreeram Satish & Siddharth Satish

Sreeram & Siddharth Satish are students in the Houston area and have been involved in charity organizations and teaching activities targeted at elementary students to provide them with the necessary guidance and resources to confidently face the challenges that will come their way as they move through various classes. They have also volunteered in education activities in villages in India with other organizations.

Sreeram Satish is a senior high schooler, a passionate violin player, and has been involved in activities that prepare students for public speaking. He has also volunteered at various organizations and fundraisers that are focused on free education for the underprivileged such as AIM for Seva and P.E.A.C.E in Houston.

Siddharth Satish is a middle schooler who has been involved in tutoring activities for children and has been actively creating study material and content for elementary students’ seminars. He plays the flute and Indian tabla.

Their activities in these organizations have to lead him to understand the need for raising funds to support organizations that helps students in need, especially during situations like COVID when the basic teaching aids have changed significantly, which can put a lot of students at a disadvantage.

Organization

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically for the promotion and development of education.

All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes. We would like to have a platform to enable educational support for those in need in the United States as well as other parts of the world. This includes tutoring kids for free, nominal fees, conducting music events, and other fundraisers towards educational funding for the needs of the underprivileged. This platform also enables receiving direct donations from those who are willing to contribute.

To this end, the corporation shall at all times be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including for such purposes the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended.
